Intended as a quick and simple palette cleanser, this tea towel is made up of a seed stitch body with a garter stitch edging worked seamlessly.
The simplicity of the pattern lends itself to variegated and or speckled yarns to produce random pops of colour.
Any yarn weight (DK, fingering etc) can be used, adjust seed stitch count as required.
This thirsty and durable tea towel is wonderful for the home and perfect for gifts.

This pattern allows 3 stitches on the start and end of the Main Body rows to make neat edges.
If you wish to make it wider or narrower, ensure an odd stitch count for the seed stitch.

Yarn: 1 x 100g (200m) DK 100% cotton yarn (non-mercerised cotton)

Gauge: 18 sts x 30 rows to 10cm (4”) in seed stitch
Measurements: 50 stitches = 30cm Wide. 50cm Long

Version 2.
Thank you to Kirstie (kkurtenbach5) for picking up the uneven edging in the Version 1 and including it in her notes. Finally updated to fix this
