Wool pairs beautifully with suede, and I was pleased by results I achieved when I used a piece of suede for the saddle portion of this jacket. I punched small holes into the edges of the suede and simply knitted into the holes. The double zipper adds styling options (sometimes it’s just nice when sitting to be able to open your jacket from the bottom up) and cotton twill tape lining the inside collar provides extra polish.
