Yardage is an estimate, the pattern requires less than 1 ounce of thread. Three bowls have been made from a 300 yard ball of mercerized crochet cotton. No brand is specified in the pattern.

This pattern has a straight sided bowl, and one with curved edges. Both are made from the same pattern. The bowl with curved edges will use 20 tiny beads, if desired.

The written directions may be difficult to understand, but the chart included is clear and accurate. The written directions are without error once the terminology is understood.
