Sugarloaf Daydream
This fun and quick knit keeps the spring weather of rural Maryland in mind!
A pretty fade in 3 colors of mini skeins, the finished piece has a few different uses. The spring mornings can be chilly, so Sugarloaf Daydream can be popped over the head and worn as a close-fitting cowl when a wooly scarf is just too much.
Chilly mornings turn into beautifuly warm days all too quickly around Sugarloaf Mountain! instead of having to stash the cowl in a bag or jacket pocket, it can also be worn as a headband or kerchief to tame the mane and keep the hair out of your face!
Finished Measurements: 22 inches x 22 inches (56cm x 56 cm) after blocking and before seaming
Yarn: Dancing Leaf “Shimmy”
3 Mini Skeins (20g) in complimentary colors

Constructuion: The cowl is worked by knitting the Bottom Border first, the picking up along the Garter edge to work the body of the piece. The fade section begins right after picking up for the main body of the cowl, then the fade completes itself before the top border is worked.
