Sugarplum Fairy Mitts
While we’re nowhere near ready for cooler weather, there’s just something about those delicate first flakes of the season, isn’t there? Feathery and light, we have a special fondness for those picture-perfect crystalline shards that stick to your woolies for a nanosecond before melting into oblivion. These fingerless mitts mimic the lightness of those flakes, both in their silky, diminutive size and the simple embroidered snowflakes scattered across the top of the hand. These mitts are an ode to our Purple Mascari Mitts; the high twist of the Little Fox Vixen combined with the sheen of the yarn’s silk content gives the pair an entirely different texture. Tiny stitches make for perfect take-along projects, and because there’s enough yardage in each skein to make at least two pairs of mitts, we think you’ll have a hard time knitting just one pair.
