Sugarpuff
The Sugarpuff is the ultimate cozy sweater. Wrap yourself up in comfort in this loose-fitting DK garment, or hold fingering weight yarn with a suri or mohair for maximum squish! This pattern was designed in collaboration with Mac Dye Conley, so once you’re done with this knit version, you can make a matching crochet Sugarpuff as well!

Yardage
Numbers listed below are for a single strand of DK weight yarn. If you will be holding yarn together, you will need the following yardage for BOTH yarns:
1090, 1175 (1280, 1380, 1480) (1590, 1705, 1825) (1935, 2020, 2080) yds / 995, 1075 (1170, 1260, 1355) (1455, 1560, 1670) (1770, 1845, 1900) m
Each additional inch of body length will require
35, 40 (40, 45, 50) (55, 55, 60) (65, 70, 70) yds / 30, 35 (35, 40, 45) (50, 50, 55) (60, 65, 65) m
The sample was knit holding a strand of fingering weight with a strand of lace weight, but the lace weight was dropped and fingering was held double for the ribbing. If you plan to do this as well, you will need more yardage of the yarn you plan to hold double.
Construction
Pattern is constructed top-down, beginning with the back panel. Stitches are picked up to add the front left and front right shoulders. Front shoulders are joined to create the neckline and the rest of the front panel is worked. Front and back panels are then joined and worked in rounds to finish the body. Neckband and arm edging/sleeves are added at the end.
