Traditional Icelandic wool sweater/pullover for children. The word Sumarlok is Icelandic for “End of summer”. This sweater is perfect for children playing outside at the end of summer when the days and evenings are getting a bit chilly.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
The sizes are based on correct gauge/tension. You might have to adjust the needle size to gain the correct gauge.
Choose the size by measuring the chest width. Centimetre lengths for body and sleeves are for reference only and should be adjusted as needed.

Body and sleeves are worked in the round from lower edge to underarms. Then they are joined to work yoke in the round. The round begins at the left side of the body. On yoke, the round begins on the left side of the back at the joining of body and sleeves.
