A very easy pattern for advanced beginners that you will enjoy a lot. The pattern is very detailed with step by step pictures that will help you complete the backpack in a very short time.

Materials:

Yarn: For the body of the backpack and the three appliques (sun,
cloud, boat): Any kind of 2 sport yarn
I have used: Alize Cotton Gold (330m/100gr, 55%
cotton, 45% acrylic).
Colors: beige, powder, turquoise, navy blue, white, light
blue and yellow.
For the mermaid applique:
Any kind of 2 sport yarn.
I have used: Alize Bahar (260m/100gr, 100% mercerized
cotton)
Colors: mint, pink and off-white.

Hook size: 4,5mm and 2,5mm
Sewing needle and scissors
2 buttons (diameter: 2cm/0.78in)
Some black and red thread for decoration
Small sewing needle
2 stitch markers (or two small pieces of yarn)

Size of the backpack: height-28cm/11 inches
bottom Ø18cm/7 inches
