I originally came up with this for a family member who is going through chemo right now and I was rather pleased with the way it turned out.

I am guessing on the yardage, because I was using a cone of cotton worsted that I had in my stash and I have no idea how many yards I used.

This pattern uses the Adjustable Magic Ring. If you are new to the technique, I do include a link to a good tutorial on the pattern.

With the cotton yarn, I recommend blocking the hat when finished for a good fit and so the brim doesn’t curl upward. It’s supposed to be floppy.
