Serve a refreshing drink on these summery fresh coasters while protecting your furniture from water rings!

The PDF includes instructions for three different designs that can be made in any color combination you like.

The coasters are made using the tapestry crochet technique which only requires sc and ch stitches (US terminonlogy). The PDF explains the tapestry crochet technique in detail with plenty of useful photos.

Skill level: intermediate

Pattern details: For this pattern you will be working off a chart. The PDF explains how to read the chart, how to carry unused yarn and how to change colors mid-row. The PDF includes plenty of photos to help you understand the technique (which is actually quite easy). The PDF includes both colored charts (in shades of blue) as well as numbered blank charts so that you can personalize your coasters and adapt the colors to any season or occasion.

Yarn: small amounts of cotton fingering or light sport weight yarn for each coaster. I have used Scheepjes Catona. Suitable substitute yarns are Drops Loves You 9 or Hobbi Rainbow Cotton 8/4.

Hook: 2 mm or 2.5 mm depending on your choice of yarn and personal tension.
