The pattern is for a bag worked in dk cotton yarn. The round base, worked in sc, gives durability, and long lasting life to the bag.
This pattern and the stitches used (sc, dc), will not allow you to do mistakes, so at the end, you can be sure that your stitches are placed in their places. I would say that at the end you will have a medium bag, just perfect for sunny walks, or trips to library, or the beach. I have used Patons dk 100% cotton yarn for my project, but any other cotton yarn, can be used, just keeping in mind that the texture will be changed. I have used 2 skeins red-02115, and 1 skein white-02691, of patons dk 100% cotton for this project. I also used stitch marker, tapestry needle, scissors, to complete the project.
