This is my version of a cocoon cardigan. It is based on a square filet (mesh) stitch, and then you add a striped border.

I made it in 100% cotton yarn. The brand I use (Phildar) is probably not available in a wide variety of countries, you may use any other cotton yarn similar to this one (details in the pattern).

This pattern is very easy, it uses chains, HDC, DC and slip stitches.

It requires some time to complete, be patient it’s worth it :)

The border would work in any color combination you like. I think it could be beautiful in shades of blue, or green, or why not a black border for a color block look? Love the creative freedom :D
