Casual and summery, this purse was designed using a non-traditional material--cotton butcher’s twine! It gives the purse a chunky, rustic look and it is soft and easy to knit with. Not only that, it is inexpensive! The recommended needle size is smaller than expected so that the purse is sturdy and better holds its shape. The bag is knit from the bottom up, in the round, using 3 stitches: the daisy stitch, linen stitch and stockinette stitch. Snaps inside the bands provide closure.
