(Or needles to obtain gauge)
Please note: many knitters experience a difference in tension between stockinette knit in the round and knit flat. Please be sure to check that your gauge does not differ over the various sections of the pattern. You may need to change needle size to maintain gauge in the worked-flat sections.
Gauge : 24 sts and 36 rows over 4” / 10 cm worked in stockinette in the Rnd/flat on Larger Body Needles.
Sizes : 12 mo (2 yrs, 4 yrs, 6 yrs, 8 yrs, 10 yrs)
Finished Bust Circumference Measurements : (ease is built into the finished measurement)
20 (24, 26, 29, 30.5, 34)” / 51 (61, 66, 73.5, 77.5, 86.5) cm
Recommended finished ease is 2-6” / 5-10 cm of positive ease. 2” positive ease for the 12 month size (for a closer fit); 3” of positive ease for sizes 2 & 4; 4” of positive ease for sizes 6 & 8; and 6” of positive ease for the size 10. This all helps transition nicely to the adult sizes, but you can adjust for less positive ease for fit, and knit the length of overall size desired.

Notes :

You will then work the garment flat. The back will be using an icord cast off starting at the underarm, and the front will be knit up, each side separately. The straps will be knit last, and attached at the top of the shoulder from held stitches in the front, and picked up stitches from where you want your straps to be in the back. Lace chart will be found on the last page.
To attach the beads, you will be using the Fleegle Needle method.
Lace section is only in chart form, not written out.
