The crochet bag is easy to make, with beginner crocheters in mind.

Using single crochet you will create the simple bag design.

The raffia bag will be perfect to use in the summer.

1 x King Cole Raffia in Carousel - 1457

Alternative raffia yarn - Ra Ra Raffia from Wool and The Gang

Hook

Size 5.5mm (US 9/I)

Level – Basic

This is a beginner level crochet pattern and the techniques involved are creating a chain and single crochet.

The pattern is written using US crochet terms and abbreviations.

• SIZING

The bag measures laying flat before seaming – 38cm / 15 inches in height and 25cm / 9.5 inches in width.

Finished size – 15 cm / 6 inches in height / 25 cm / 9.5 inches in width.

Strap = 42 inches / 107cm

Tassel length = 31 cm / 12 inches
