Love the look of that triangular shawl with the point in front, but sometimes it’s just too much fabric? This simple little cowl mirrors that look, adding a pop of color in a light, breezy accessory. And the beaded bind off adds just a hint of bling. (Although the bind off is pretty too without beads.)
I used fewer than 100 size 6 beads for the cowls.

So quick and perfect for a small amount of yarn. Although the pattern is written for fingering weight, there are directions and suggestions to modify for all weights. It can easily be expanded into a shawl too simply by continuing the increases.

For a shallower drape/neckline, knit first section to 49 stitches.
