This is an ideal pattern to use up scrap yarn and partial skeins. The toy uses a few different crochet techniques which will make it ideal to practice or learn crochet.

Tension is not necessary for this project, but a tighter fabric is recommended - so use a crochet hook one or two sizes smaller than what the label recommends.
