Written pattern for a crochet summer dress. Made with Hobbii Cotton Kings Twirls but any gradiented yarn can work. Of course it can also be made with solid colours.

Dress is worked top-down in a modular fashion - 2 bust pieces and straps are made before working in the round for the torso and skirt portions.

Pattern is measurement-based and thus is customisable to any size and body shape. You can also customise the ruffles, fit and length of the dress and I explain how to in the pattern.

Any yarn can be used but I recommend a lightweight cotton for breathability and drape.

A short dress for 5’3” me used slightly less than 2 cakes of Cotton Kings Twirls. Obviously, more cakes will be needed for taller people or longer dresses.
