Knit top-down and seamlessly, this lightweight and easy to wear cardigan is the perfect long lounging cardie for slinging on over anything! Deep pockets and back feature lace make it eye-catching yet casual.

The construction is a slight twist on the traditional raglan cardigan. It features a simple but cute circular lace motif in the brooch position and running down one side and the back of the body. This circular motif evokes images of katherine wheels and ferris wheels, such distinctly Summer memories.

The related pattern Summer Carnival is a cropped version of this cardie, much like a 50s bolero. The raglan shaping, bodice and sleeves are worked slightly differently in each of these patterns to cater for the different fit and ease in the different style of sleeves.

The final two patterns are children’s versions of these two patterns; Carousel and Ferris Wheel.
