Summer Fiesta Coasters is a design I felt was needed to give not only some texture, but a different look to the traditional flat coaster pattern.

I made these up with the cotton yarn I had on hand…A ball of yarn would make several, as I was using some here, some there…I didn’t chart the exact yardage. No gauge is required for this pattern.

I used an ‘I’ hook for my prototype, you can use the size you prefer to use, along with the type of yarn or fiber you prefer to use. I think these would look fantastic done up in a Raffia yarn!!

Five (5) inches in diameter, they fit a mug, glass, cup base perfectly and will look stunning holding your Margarita glasses and wine globe.

Perfect for the patio, picnic gatherings, oceanfront barbeque patio dinners!
