Crochet dice perfect for playing summer games with all your young at heart friends. Crochet up a dice (or two), grab some chalk, invite over your friends and head outside to play giant snakes and ladders

This crochet dice pattern uses join as you go techniques to avoid the need to sew pieces together or glue your project. I have filled my dice with foam blocks which helps them hold their cube shape when being thrown about!

Material
1 ball each of stylecraft special DK or other DK yarn in a main and contrast colour. The pictured die was made with Raspberry and Mustard.

2 inch cubes of foam or stuffing to fill (you can buy 2 inch thick foam pads and cut to size).

Size 4mm (UK 8, US G/6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge of 24 rows of dc stitches to 10cm.
