For this summer shawl I was inspired by traditional lace shawls from Shetland.
The shawl is worked with a lace yarn and 2.75 or 3.0mm needles (gauge is not important here, but needle size could change yarn length necessity - from 720 to 800m).
First you make the lace bottom edge, then you pick up side stitches and work up to the top of the shawl with a different lace pattern.

Measures: approx. 90 x 180 cm (lightly blocked)

Now final rows simplified and all corrections fixed!

Per questo scialle estivo mi sono ispirata ai tradizionali scialli in pizzo delle isole Shetland.
Lo scialle è lavorato con un filato sottile (lace) e ferri 2.75 o 3.0 (la tensione qui non è molto importante, ma la scelta del ferro può cambiare il metraggio necessario - da 720 a 800 metri).
Si lavora all’inizio il bordo basso, poi si prendono le maglie laterali e si inizia a lavorare il corpo dal basso verso l’alto.

Finale ora semplificato e correzioni fatte.
