This poncho is constructed by knitting 2 rectangles and it has only 2 seams. The stitch pattern is a 8-row repeat, and all wrong-side rows are K2, purl to the last 2 sts, K2. (Personally, I love lace, but I also love my brain-dead rows.) There is no knitting or crochet trim that is required.

I used worsted weight cotton. A heavier yarn will not work because of the stitch multiples.
