The sweater is worked from the top down in the round. After finishing the neck, stitches are added in three stages: for shoulders, sleeves, and yoke. The yoke is divided for the body and sleeves and the body is continued in the round with circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round with short circular needle, top down.
