The Summer Nights Ruana is an airy, oversized garment, with a beautiful beach scene. It uses tapestry crochet along with a customized color fading technique to create a sunset over water. This pattern creates a 26” x 52” garment with notes on how to adjust size.

Please note: The original pattern was made with Lion Brand Ice Cream Cotton (discontinued). This pattern was updated in August 2024 with an available yarn. The updated pattern also simplifies the design, adjust row counts, and eliminates the seaming process. Both versions of this pattern will remain in the pattern library.
