Summer Nights Throw Blanket
A free version is also available.
The Summer Nights Throw Blanket is an airy blanket, with a beautiful beach scene. It uses tapestry crochet along with a customized color fading technique to create a sunset over water. This pattern creates a 48” x 60” throw blanket with notes on how to adjust the blanket’s size.
There is a video and photo tutorial available for the custom stitch used.
This pattern calls for Lion Brand Ice Cream Cotton blend, but you can substitute a similar worsted weight yarn. Please note: Lion Brand Ice Cream Cotton Blend is now discontinued. Similar colorways with ombre color changes are recommended. Some suggestions are Red Heart Ombre, Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton, Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball, WeCrochet Comfy Color Mist…etc.
