Summer and poncho are words rarely found together. This is a fresh summer top designed as a traditional poncho (a rectangle with a medium sit for head), sewn down the sides. Super-easy to knit, it features tapestry-fake stitch and a crochet triangle to close back neck.
This top is made in two pieces: One knitted rectangle with a medium slit, and a crochet triangle to close back neck. Front neck is a V neck, and the “poncho” covers a bit down the shoulders.
Instructions and diagrams are given for adult medium size, but the construction is so simple that it can easily be transformed to fit any size, only a few calculations are needed.
