Summer days beckon and what better way to get ready than to crochet this adorable top for the little one in your life?

The ripple stitch from Attic24 is used for the main body section and shows off a variegated yarn to great effect. The racer-style back works well for toddlers to avoid those dangling shoulder straps. Using white for the edgings gives a whole retro-feel to the variegations.

The pattern is worked from the neckline down and has no seams or sewing.

It was designed using a 100% cotton sports yarn – Catania by Schachenmayr. Other sports-weight yarns can be substituted but 100% cotton is advised. You will need:

• 2 balls Catania Color in Jeans - 00201 (100g variegated)
• 1 ball Catania in Weiss - 00106 (50g solid)
