I have used 300gms of baby soft double knit yarn on 5mm straight knitting needles.

A very pretty blanket in pink but I have also made it in white and it looks very different.

It is made by knitting the centre square first and then the sides are knitted by picking up stitches from each side. The sides are then stitched together.

A lovely, personal gift for a new baby that can be cherished for years to come.

The finished size is approx: 32x32ins/82x82cms.
