The Summer Sailing Sweater is an easy drop shoulder pullover.
It is perfect for advanced beginners who would like to try their hand at garment making.

The pattern is easy and it only requires double crochet stitches and chains.

Optional stitches to use are the foundation double crochet and the chainless starting double crochet.

CONSTRUCTION
This pattern is for a modern drop shoulder pullover sweater.
The pattern is constructed in two panels: front, and back. Both panels are crocheted bottom-up working in rows.
The two panels are identical with the exception that the front one has a cleavage. Thus, at the cleavage point, it will split into Front Right and Front Left (right and left are defined as the right or left of the panel when you are facing it with the RS up).
On both front and back panels, there are a few stitches added on the sides to make the armholes.
The front and back panels are seamed on top of the shoulders and on the sides of the body.
Then, the sleeves are crocheted directly on the sweater by working in rounds.
