Summer Side Tank Top
A relaxed fit tank top, worked side-to-side with a wide, gently curved neckline, shaped armholes and a small arc at the base of the side seams.
Skills Used
The pattern assumes a basic knowledge of crochet stitches, techniques and terminology.
It is created from two panels crocheted side to side in rows. You will need to work increases and decreases, and maintain an accurate stitch count.
The pattern is written in US crochet terms and worked mainly using extended single crochet (a written description and link to a tutorial is included in the pattern).
You will also work in front loops and back loops and will need to seam the two panels together. Blocking is recommended.
Materials
660 - 1150m 4ply / fingering weight yarn and a 4mm crochet hook (or size needed to match gauge).
The item shown would use 2(2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4) 100g hanks Fyberspates, scrumptious 4ply, 55% Merino Wool, 45% Silk (100g = 365m / 399yds) in shade baby pink. A breakdown of approximate meterage for each size is given in the pattern.
Size
The pattern is written in 9 sizes from XS - 5XL to fit chest sizes 76-158cm / 30-64in. Details of additional measurements and a schematic are included in the pattern to assist you in choosing a suitable size.
The tank top is made with 8-10cm positive ease and is 53-56cm long depending on size chosen.
