This is a Triangular Shawl.

I have written this design in UK terms with (US terms written alongside in brackets). There is also a simplified chart at the end to help you along. For this pattern you will need any 4 ply yarn or a Scheepjes whirl, which is what i used. I used the gorgeous a Fruity ‘o’ Tutty. I used a 3.5mm crochet hook, a sewing needle and scissors. I highly recommend blocking your scarf it will also open up the design more. Once blocked my shawl measured 68 inches along the top by 28 inches.
