Also known as Midsummer, the Summer Solstice is a time for celebration. Is the longest day of the year, and probably also the brightest.

This pattern features open stitches to allow the summer breeze to go thru, and will allow it be worn comfortably even during warmer days.

The stole is worked seamlessly from side to side, using a combination of chain and double crochet stitches. The stitches are worked in an alternating pattern, creating a curved edge.

Skill level: Easy

Gauge: in double crochet 24 stitches by 14 rows = 4 inches (10 cm)
