The Summer Spirit Shawl uses 2 colors, the combo of a speckled yarn and a tonal yarn, since they are both commonly found in our stash.
The speckled yarn is used in the solid row sections, that is purely of HDC to show off the speckles to show them off the best.
The tonal yarn is used when we create a mesh stitching section to brightly stand out against the contrasting color.
I used a fingering yarn that was from Woolberry and Hello Stella, both are hand-dyed yarns. Here is some affordable yarn I would recommend: Loops and Threads Woolike and LB Collection Merino Silk Cotton Yarn.
