This is the stole I designed for Debbie Abrahams for her 2013 Bead Club. My stole is one of six designs, mine being a lightweight summer stole or wrap.

The concept of the Bead Club is that you join the club and for your annual subscription, you get six designs (one every two months) with a seasonal theme, plus the beads you need from Debbie’s lovely bead collection.

All the designs are exclusive to the Bead Club. Designers include: Jane Crowfoot, Sarah Hatton, Sarah Hazell and Debbie Abrahams.

My summer stole, which is the June design, uses Kidsilk Haze (I used 4 balls) and c2,000 beads. The design is fairly straight forward lace for the main stole with beaded ruffles at each end to finish it off. It’s a pretty quick knit being knitted on 4mm needles.
