The Summer Storm Scarf comes in two sizes.

Size 1 will be almost entirely lace and it works well as a small accessory, while size 2 is perfect as a neck scarf.

If staying true to gauge throughout - with Chart 1 measuring 14”/ 35,5cm and Chart 2 measuring 7.8”/ 19,8cm - , the scarf sizes will be 26” and 36”, or 66cm and 91cm. However, it can be hard for some people to maintain gauge during the lacy ends. If that is the case, additional length can easily be added to the central part.

Supplies List
Fingering Yarn: I used Reed, from Shibui Knits, but any fingering yarn that allows for good stitch definition is appropriate.

Yarn: 15-25g

Needles: US1/2.25mm (or needles of your choice)

Notions: Stitch Markers (2 markers), Scissors, a Tapestry Needle.

Gauge: 26sts & 27 rows for 10cm/4”, knit flat. Getting gauge is not extremely important in this case, and it is more about how wide your want the scarf to be.
