This beautiful baby blanket pattern is perfect for new baby or preemie as it’s worked in a very close stitch with no holes (apart from border).

It’s also very quick and easy to make using DK and a 6mm hook, and is soft and thick without feeling stiff.

This pattern is very simple so suitable for beginner. The border has several rows and is done with a smaller hook, but is very straightforward.

The format is English crochet (UK) stitches/terminology, (please refer to a UK stitch guide, and not YouTube, if unsure of stitches!).

You will need 3 x 100g DK wool (I used Stylecraft Special DK for this pattern), and a 6mm crochet hook.

Finished measurements approx. 60cm x 75cm / 24” x 29”
