In rnd 2 of the pattern instructions, there is an error (the version I am looking at is in the book “I taught myself crochet”).

The three times it says “work 3 dc in next sc”, it should be “work 5 dc in next sc”.

There do not seem to be errata or this fix available online, but making this change fixes the pattern so that rnd 3 onwards can be worked as written.
