The Summer Sun Ponchette

I was very pleased to team up with Janne from Joy of Motion Crochet to bring you this beautiful Ponchette pattern for free on her blog!

You can wear this piece over a fancy dress for a wedding or garden party, or dress it down with a top and jeans. Plus you can achieve lots of different looks, depending on how you wear it. This ponchette just adds that little something to any outfit!

Finished Sizes:

Instructions given to fit size X-small/small; changes for medium/ large, X-large/2X-large, 3X-large/4X-large and 5X-large/6X-large are in ()
XS/S ( M/L, XL/2XL, 3XL/4XL, 5XL/6XL)

To fit Bust: 33-37” (37”-42”, 42”-50”, 50”-58”, 58”-66”)
This pattern is designed so that the bottom edge sits at or just past the elbows and the peak sits at around the hip.

Materials:

I used Premier Yarns Cotton Fair, which is 52% Cotton/48% Acrylic, #2 Fine weight yarn.
Any yarn of similar weight would work.
Approximately 550 (630, 800, 1000, 1200) yds to make the length shown.
