Summer Sunshine Lace Wrap
When I saw this beautiful hand-dyed butterscotch merino sock yarn I was inspired to create a long lacy shawl - and this pattern is the result! This pattern combines two of my favorite lace patterns with a simple lace border.
The pattern includes both written instructions and a lace chart, as well as close up photos. The wrap is knit in two pieces from end to middle, and grafted together to finish.
Difficulty: Intermediate - some lace knitting experience is a plus.
Materials Needed:
Approximately 800 yds of heavy sock-weight yarn (gauged for US size 2-4 needles)
US Size 8 knitting needles
1 tapestry or darning needle large enough for yarn
18 inch piece of scrap yarn
Blocking wires or pins for blocking
This eco-friendly pattern is emailed to you in PDF format. Save paper and ink! When you’re ready to knit simply print the last two pages on one sheet front and back and you have everything you need on one page!
