This pattern is my own design for a knitted top, walking shorts and purse. It is designed to fit an American Girl doll.

Materials:

• worsted weight yarn (such as Caron Simply Soft) in two colours
• 3.25 mm needles
• 4 buttons for the top
• yarn needle

Gauge:
approximately 23 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches using 3.25 mm needles

Techniques/Stitches:

• k1f&b stitch
• M1 stitch
• long-tail cast-on
• short rows
