This dress was inspired by famous 1960-ies model Twiggy and the multiple mini dresses she wore so wonderfully.

This knitting pattern will create a shift mini dress to fit 18” doll with slim body. Some of such dolls are Kidz n Cats, Journey Girl and similar.
Chest measurement for the model in the photos is 8 1/2” around. The pattern can be used for any doll with this measurement regardless of its length, which can be adjusted by manipulating number of rows in the pattern.

By using yarn listed here and achieving the listed gauge you will create a perfectly fitting dress.

Yarn: Self patterning / vegetated Fingering / sock weight for main body and solid color for trim. You will need about 35g of yarn total. Regular straight needles or circular needle of size appropriate for chosen yarn.
