Summer Vacation Shawl
This pattern is worked flat in a long rectangular shape with lovely angles and points extending out along the sides. It is comprised of three parts – and three colors, starting at one end, gradually increasing into a
triangle, and continuing on in a repeating fashion to the other end where it gradually decreases into another triangle, so that there is not much of a bind off.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
• Color A: 87 yards – 20g hank of Olive & Two Ewe Mitford yarn in the Florida Sunshine
colorway
• Color B: 463 yards – 100g hank of Olive & Two Ewe Twain yarn in the Sooper Excited
colorway
• Color C: 87 yards – 20g hank of Olive & Two Ewe Mitford yarn in the Corfu Pink colorway
• US Size 6 circular needles with a 22” – 30” cable
• Tapestry Needle
GAUGE: 19 sts x 16 rows = 4” x 4” in the first section. If you’re a loose knitter and find this to affect your gauge, simply drop down a needle size and all should be well.
