It’s classic, it’s beautiful, it’s made with dreamy yarn…

While I love the “classic” Navy and White stripe “Nautical” look—I also think this blanket would be adorable with a variety of different colours. Keep the cream coloured base and add a coral colour for a fun and fresh vibe, or change out the navy with a subtle green or taupe for a more neutral and soft look—or simply replace Navy with a soft pink or purple for a stunning baby girl blanket. The options are truly endless and the Shine Worsted yarn used for this blanket has a wide variety of shades suitable to your every need. Colours I’ve got my eye on include: Clarity, Pistachio, Grapefruit, Blush, Hydrangea, Wisteria and Platinum!

Made with the softest cotton I could get my hands on… Crochet.com (or Knit Picks) very own Shine Worsted (a blended pima cotton and beech wood fibre modal) makes this blanket extra special.
You won’t want to miss this one!

This pattern is worked up using the classic sunburst granny square and JAYG method.
