My father’s family homesteaded an area that they called Summit Point. As a child I visited the area several times to gather wood, help clear a new area for the wheat field to expand, to swim in the ponds and picnic with my grandparents. The place is covered in beautiful red soil wheat fields, red cedar trees, pinyon pines, elk, deer, coyotes, rabbits, etc. It’s heaven on earth to me. Many memories that are held dear happened out on Summit Point.

This pair of socks were created to commemorate this special place in my heart. The design features lace panel’s of wheat heads and there is a small cable up the back of the leg symbolizing how my life is intertwined with this land.

Come share my love for this place and perhaps a memory of special times with your grandparents as well. Make a pair for yourself today.
