Sumpin
You might be putting on a plain T-shirt when the weather is warm and flowery… but you find that your outfit needs a little sumpin sumpin to make it work. This is your Sumpin! A little lace scarf that can be wrapped around your neck any which way, pointed ends over a shoulder or in the front. Worked in a 4 row repeat, this simple cellular lace pattern adds texture and depth without feeling too warm, heavy or complicated. Fingering weight yarn makes this lightweight and floaty, but the gauge is flexible and laceweight to dk weight yarn will work. With approximately 450 yards of fingering weight and size 6 (4mm) needles, the scarf measures approximately 9” by 60”.
Accessibility Note: This pattern offers an additional Low Vision pdf option, with Arial 24 point sans serif font in all black text and photo captions. It has no italics. All of the directions are fully written out. If there’s a chart included, there are also written instructions- the chart is not needed to complete the pattern.
Length and width of scarf will vary according to your yarn choice and needle size.
