SUMU (meaning fog in Finnish) is a scarf knitted with two colours using the intarsia technique. The scarf is knitted in 1/1 rib throughout and features a geometric play on stripes. It is inspired by the layers of fog over the landscape.

The scarf is made of 8 different panels each composed of 4 vertical stripes, 2 thick ones and 2 thin ones and their placement varies to break the geometry. There is also a play with textures, as lambswool is mixed with thick mohair- adding something special to the touch.
