This pattern in inspired by the “olive leaves” pattern of the traditional kufiyas which I find beautiful for rithm and simplicity. The motif encloses a strong message: the olive tree as an icon of palestinian heritage. Olive tree as a simbol of resistance, of attachment to the land, of steadfastness, of Sumud.

This pattern is dedicated to my father and to all the resisting people around the world.
