Sun

I like effortlessness and ease in clothing. The idea of a full skirt was a perfect match beyond fashion and time; it looks great on many bodies and, depending on the chosen length, supports the creation of an hourglass or elongated figure.
The Sun skirt is knit from the top down. 
To ensure an ideal fit, a broad elastic band (3 cm) was used on the inside of the belt.
The back waist shaping balances out the lower edge of the skirt, ensuring enough fabric over the outstanding part, the bottom. The shaping is worked back and forth, and the rest of the skirt is knit in the round. 
The design has an adjustable length and two possible lower edges.

GAUGE

BODY: After blocking, 22 sts & 34 rnds = 10x10 cm (4x4 “) in stockinette stitch pattern with 4 mm (US 6) needles.

NEEDLES

Needle A (for body). Suggested Size: 4 mm (US 6), or the needle size required to meet the gauge.
Needle B (for belt). Suggested Size: 3 mm (US 2.5).
Needle C (for the folded edge). Suggested Size: 3 mm (US 2.5).
