A classy fingerless mitt knitted with J C Rennies Lambswool
with a fair isle turn back cuff, there is a diamond fair isle pattern on the body which complements the cuff, and a turn back top rib.
The fair isle cuff has an inner lining for extra warmth and a thumb gusset for comfort.
Both mitts are knitted the same.
Sizes med / large
Materials Fingering 4 ply
Red and Grey sample knitted with
J C Rennies Supersoft Lambswool
Silver Grey and Blaze - 1 x 50 grams ball of each
Jaeger Wool Silk (lining) - natural approx 42 yards
Needles - 2.5mm - 3mm - 3.25 mm (US / 1.5 / 2.5 / 3)
Circular, DPN´s, or Magic Loop
But you can use the same needle size throughout if you wish.
Finished measurements
Med - Width 3.5”(9cm) Length with cuffs turned 7.75” (19.5 cm)
Large - Width 4” (10cm) Length 8” (20cm)
Size - To fit woman´s hand circumference 7” - 8” (18 - 20cm)

Tip - when you have turned your mitt, carry on knitting to the left as usual, on the second round, when knitting the first stitch pull the yarn a little tighter to close the small gap
